Miley Cyrus Open to Acting Comeback as She Reflects on Career Milestones
American singer, songwriter, and actress Miley Cyrus says she is open to acting again, but only if the role feels right.
She shared the update on January 3 while attending the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards.
Cyrus said she would return to the screen for a project with a strong script and a character that feels natural to her.
Her last acting appearance was in 2019 on Black Mirror. Since then, she has focused mainly on music.
At the event, Cyrus received the Outstanding Artistic Achievement award for her song “Dream As One” from Avatar: Fire and Ash.
The song also earned her a Golden Globe nomination in 2026.
She also revealed plans to mark 20 years since Hannah Montana this March, a milestone that helped launch her career.
