Eddy Kenzo Warns Musicians: “Conflicts Bring Tears, Not Glory”
The Ugandan music scene is heating up with tension as veteran Jose Chameleone locks horns with Alien Skin.
Both camps are thumping their chests, and fans are watching closely as the drama unfolds.
Amid the brewing feud, UNMF President Eddy Kenzo has stepped in with a strong warning against violence, highlighting just how destructive these conflicts can be.
To be honest, conflicts are not going to help anyone. Conflict is conflict, and there is no conflict that does good. The one who wins the conflict might gain somnething from it, but it leaves a trail of tears. There is no conflict that ends without blooshed and scars. So, I do not know why they engage so much in violence.
He also addressed the foot soldiers who invest themselves in the conflicts, urging them to reconsider.
I want to advise the people in musicians’ gangs. Maybe you love ending up in jail or getting into trouble, but when two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers. The people who lead you have their own agendas, but where will the scuffle leave you? Think carefully if you are part of these gangs.
