Ebo Noah’s Mother Appeals for Mercy After Court Remand

Ghanaian social media prophet Ebo Noah became a global topic after claiming the world would face a deadly flood on 25 December 2025.

The prediction spread quickly online and unsettled many people, leading to his arrest on 31 December 2025 by the Ghana Police Service Special Cyber Vetting Team.

After his first court appearance, the Adentan Circuit Court remanded him into police custody and ordered a psychiatric evaluation.

Following the hearing, his mother stepped forward with an appeal to the President, the IGP, and the public.

She asked for mercy and insisted her son is not mentally ill.

She said he did not understand the impact of what he was doing and blamed TikTok pressure and unemployment.

Ebo Noah is expected to return to court on 15 January 2026.
