A Pass Says Creativity Comes From Within, Not from Substances
Singer A Pass has taken a bold swipe at Ragga Dancehall artistes who believe that smoking marijuana boosts their creativity and helps them produce better music.
He strongly disagrees, insisting that true talent comes from within, not from external substances.
“Everything you need is already inside you. You do not need to add anything else to do your job well,” he said.
Adding on, A Pass openly questioned how many of the marijuana-smoking Ragga artistes have actually produced music better than his.
With confidence, the now dreadlocked artiste issued a challenge.
“If there is any Ragga artiste who believes that smoking marijuana makes them better at music than I am, I challenge them to step forward. Let us put our songs side by side and see which ones are truly better,” he dared them.
In conclusion, A Pass urged his fellow artistes to resist being misled about artistry and creativity.
“Do not be deceived into thinking that marijuana is the key to making great Ragga music. It is not. You just have to sing,” he asserted.
