A Pass Surprises Next Media With Thank-You Visit Months After Sold-Out Concert

Ugandan music sensation A Pass is still riding the high of his successful January concert, but he has not forgotten those who helped him pull it off.

In a rare move for a star at his level, the “Love Potion” singer paid a surprise visit to the Next Media Park this week, showing up in person to thank the media giant for the support they gave him during his milestone event earlier this year.

His maiden concert, held on January 31st, 2025, at the Kampala Serena Hotel, was a major milestone for his illustrious career.

And a big part of that success came from Next Media’s heavy involvement through AfroMobile, their digital platform that streamed the concert live and served up exclusive behind-the-scenes content in the lead-up.

Rather than letting the moment fade, APass circled back months later to make sure the team that helped him shine got the recognition they deserved.

His visit was warmly received by staff and did not go unnoticed at the top.

Next Media Group CEO Kin Karisa took to social media to share his appreciation.

Thank you, APass, for the thoughtful gesture this morning, visiting the #NextMediaPark to express appreciation for the support of our brands during your maiden concert earlier this year. We do not take it for granted. Keep soaring.

The partnership between A Pass and Next Media was a win-win for both sides and a powerful example of how media and music can elevate each other when they work together.
