A Song Paid For, But Never Made: An-Known Calls Out Daddy Andre for Disappearing After Payment
An-Known Prosper has shared a frustrating encounter with producer Daddy Andre, revealing that he was left in the dark after paying for a production that never took place.
In a recent media interview, the soft-spoken singer explained that he had always looked up to Daddy Andre and was excited about the opportunity to work with him.
An-Known recalled that their meeting took place outside Spice Diana’s 32 Records studio, where they discussed collaborating on a song.
During their conversation, Daddy Andre allegedly requested full payment upfront, which An-Known agreed to, trusting the producer.
“I met with him, and we discussed. He asked for full payment, saying he did not want just 50%. Normally, we pay half upfront, but he insisted on the full amount, which I gave him,” he explained.
According to the singer, Daddy Andre promised to schedule a recording session soon, but after that, he disappeared “like the Bachwezi.”
Whenever he tried calling, Daddy Andre’s phone was always switched off, which led him to believe he had been blocked.
“We called Andre repeatedly, and when we went back to 32, they told us he does not work there, yet that is where we found him,” he said.
Looking back, he admits that his biggest mistake was not asking for a receipt to formalize the transaction.
However, despite that and the time that has passed, An-Known insists that he still demands the music production he paid for from Daddy Andre.
