Abitex Says He Outvalues All Other Promoters Combined After Uncut Awards Glory
Abitex, the President of Promoters in Uganda, is still riding high after the Uncut Awards came to a close.
He says the event was handled well and insists the winners were rightly chosen, noting that everyone who received an award put in serious work to earn it.
He also spoke warmly about his own victory as Promoter of the Year, describing it as a proud moment and a clear sign that his contribution to the industry is being recognized.

While appearing on Sanyuka Uncut, Abitex went on to praise President Yoweri Museveni for meeting him and other promoters.
He said the President honored his promise through their SACCO and confirmed that the funds discussed were successfully received.
Still, the celebrations were not without tension.
Abitex revealed his disappointment with some fellow promoters, including Hajji KT and Emma Serunjoji, accusing them of speaking negatively about him behind his back.
Even so, Abitex appeared unbothered by the criticism.
He said he considers himself a blessed man who is well known by President Museveni and Gen. Salim Saleh.
I believe that even if all promoters combine on one side and I stand alone, my value is greater than that of the rest.
Abtex ended his remarks with a firm message to Hajji KT and Emma Serunjoji, telling them to stay in their lane.
He urged them to focus on engaging opposition members and escorting them to State House, rather than involving themselves in his affairs.
