Abtex Credits Hindu and Prima After Geosteady Concert Success
Promoter Abtex is still celebrating after Geosteady’s Valentine’s concert at Sheraton Gardens pulled massive crowds.
Speaking to Sanyuka Uncut, Abtex said the love from fans proved the show was a success, despite doubts from critics.
He revealed that the idea for the big concert was born after he watched Geosteady perform at Comedy Store Uganda and immediately saw the potential for something bigger.
The promoter did not hold back on appreciation.
He credited Geosteady’s wife, Hindu Kay, for playing a major role behind the scenes in ensuring the show sold out.
He also thanked the singer’s ex-lover and baby mama, Prima Kardashi, for standing with the team during preparations.
Abtex dismissed claims that rain would ruin the event, insisting the “haters” had been proven wrong.
He further disclosed that Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo had granted extra time for the show, although security operatives later cut it short.
Looking ahead, Abtex hinted at bigger plans.
Since being appointed to a government position by President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, he says he intends to push for extended operating hours for the night economy, arguing that partygoers deserve more time to enjoy their nights out.
