Acidic Vokoz Explains Why He Stopped Music Production
Acidic Vokoz has opened up about why he stepped back from music production to focus fully on being an artiste.
The singer, born Kakaire Mutwailu, shared during an interview on Rewind that his current schedule makes it difficult to juggle both roles.
Between interviews, performances, and other commitments, he feels he cannot give artistes the time and attention they need in the studio.
I am more of an artiste because I do not have time to be in the studio. Making a song takes time. I might have an interview while a musician I left in the studio is waiting for me, and they may feel that I am not giving them enough time.
He also admitted that finances played a role in his decision.
Another thing is that there is money in being an artiste. There is money in production too, but for me, being an artiste brings in more money.
For now, Acidic Vokoz says focusing on performing and building his brand as an artiste is the path that makes the most sense for his career.
