Aloysius Joy Matovu Calls Out Fans for Lack of Appreciation
Veteran actor Aloysius Joy Matovu is not holding back. The stage star is calling out his fans for failing to show him the love he says he deserves.
After years of performing plays that have inspired, educated, and touched countless Ugandans, Matovu admits he still feels under-appreciated.
In a blunt message to his supporters during a chat with Sanyuka Uncut, he said:
Show me love and appreciate me while I am still alive. Do not wait for me to die and then praise me while mourning at my funeral.
The seasoned actor emphasized that artistes should be celebrated while they are still around to feel the love.
After all, there is nothing more fulfilling than knowing people truly value your hard work while you are still here to enjoy it.
