Andy Muzic Denies Dating Fille, Calls Out Artistes Seeking Free Production
Ugandan music producer and singer Andy Muzic, born Arnold Bungamuzi, has addressed long-standing rumors that once linked him romantically to songbird Fille Mutoni.
Before stepping into the spotlight as a recording artiste, Andy built his name behind the scenes, producing music for various artistes.
It was during that period that speculation about his closeness to Fille began to circulate.
In a recent interview, he dismissed the claims, insisting their bond was professional.
Fille was very close to me, besides being an artiste whose music I was producing. Many people said that I was dating her, but that was not true.
He also used the opportunity to clarify his relationship with media personality MC Kats, Fille’s former partner, amid suggestions of tension.
MC Kats and I have no bad blood. We are good.
With the rumors addressed, Andy turned to a broader concern within the industry.
He expressed disappointment with some artistes he has worked with, saying appreciation for producers is often lacking.
I have worked for many artistes, but they have not appreciated me. Instead, they keep coming back asking for free work. That kind of culture should stop.
From there, his message shifted toward growth.
Andy urged Ugandan musicians to prioritise creativity and originality rather than recycling similar sounds.
I pray that Ugandan artistes stop using the same beats all the time. We need to allow the industry to grow.
