Another Women Files Lawsuit Against Sean “Diddy” Combs for Alleged Sexual Assault
April Lampros has filed a lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging four instances of sexual assault spanning from the mid-1990s to the early 2000s. The lawsuit, filed on Friday, includes claims of battery, assault, sexual assault, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and gender-motivated violence.
Lampros states that she first met Combs in 1994 while interning at Arista Records. According to the lawsuit, Lampros alleges that Combs secretly recorded a sexual encounter and subsequently showed the footage to others without her consent.
The lawsuit also names Bad Boy Records, Arista Records, and Sony Entertainment as defendants, implicating them in the broader context of the alleged incidents. Lampros claims these companies were negligent in preventing the abuse and in addressing the toxic environment that facilitated it.
This legal action follows other recent allegations against Combs, including a 2003 assault claim by model Crystal McKinney and an ongoing federal human trafficking investigation. In addition, singer Cassie has publicly spoken out about the domestic violence she experienced during her relationship with Combs.
Lampros’ lawsuit marks the latest in a series of accusations that have surfaced against Combs, casting a shadow over his influential career in the music industry. Combs, Bad Boy Records, Arista Records, and Sony Entertainment have yet to issue statements in response to the lawsuit.
