“Are Our Fans Real?” Selecta Jeff Slams Low Engagement Online
It turns out the “many followers, little engagement” struggle is not just for ordinary users.
Even celebrities are starting to feel the pinch, and some are clearly frustrated.
One of them is Ugandan DJ and entertainer Selecta Jeff, who recently spoke out, saying that despite his large following, fan response online remains disappointingly low.
On his X account, Jeff questioned why celebrities with massive followings still struggle to get meaningful interaction on their posts.
He even joked that maybe fans secretly dislike the very celebrities they follow.
He also wondered whether fans are genuinely engaged or just following for the sake of it.
In the end, Jeff urged fans to support public figures online, saying that engagement counts as much as follower numbers.
