Ugandan singer Joshua Baraka is enjoying a proud moment after his hit song “Morocco” played during a training session by Arsenal F.C.

A video circulating on social media shows players warming up at the club’s training ground while the upbeat Afropop track plays in the background.

The clip quickly caught the attention of fans, especially in Uganda, who celebrated the moment online.

Many described the moment as a major win for Ugandan music, pointing to the increasing global reach of African sounds.

Since its release in 2025, “Morocco” has grown into a cross-continental hit, later earning a remix featuring Jamaican star Shenseea after the two linked up during her headline show at BK Arena in Rwanda.

The collaboration further expanded the song’s reach into Caribbean markets and beyond.
