Asake Crowned Most Streamed Artiste in Spotify Nigeria History
Nigerian singer Asake has become the most streamed artiste of all time on Spotify Nigeria.
The platform released its top five most streamed artists to mark five years of operation in the country.
Asake leads the list, followed by Wizkid in second place and Seyi Vibez in third.
Burna Boy ranks fourth, while Davido completes the top five.
Asake also dominates the songs chart.
His track “Remember” holds the number one spot among the most streamed songs of all time on Spotify Nigeria.
Other top entries include “Dealer” by Ayo Maff and Fireboy DML, “Awolowo” by Fido, “Kese” by Wizkid, and Asake’s “Lonely At The Top.”
Nigerian music also dominates in Kenya and Ghana.
In Kenya, “Asiwaju” by Ruger leads, followed by Ayra Starr’s “Rush” and “Bandana” by Fireboy DML.
In Ghana, “Wotowoto Seasoning” by Odumodublvck featuring Black Sherif tops the chart.
