Asake Sets New Billboard Record With 60 Afrobeats Chart Entries
Asake has reached a new high on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.
The Nigerian star now holds the record for the most entries in the chart’s history with 60 songs.
His collaboration with Wizkid, Jogodo, climbed to number four this week, adding to his growing list of hits.
Tyla is also holding strong. The South African singer kept the number one spot with her song “Channel.”
Her earlier smash “Water” spent 55 weeks at the top, helping her earn the title of top Afrobeats artist for 2025.
Burna Boy joined the celebration with a major U.S. breakthrough.
His feature on Gunna’s track “WGFT” rose to number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 after a remix with Chris Brown.
The achievement means Burna Boy has now debuted a song on the chart for five straight years, a first for an African artiste.
