Ava Peace Shares Experience of Being Called ‘Rihanna’ in London
Ugandan singer Ava Peace, whose real name is Namugonza Maureen Peace, has revealed that she is often likened to global pop icon Rihanna.
While recounting an experience she had on the streets of London, Ava shared that a random person called her “Rihanna” and insisted that she resembled the American superstar.
Although she was unsure whether the comment was meant as a joke, she noted that this was not the first time she had been told that.
“It is a pleasure. I take it as a positive thing. I do not take things negatively,” she said.
When asked in a media interview if she dreams of meeting Rihanna one day, Ava Peace responded with optimism.
She expressed belief that the opportunity is within reach, especially since other African artistes like Ayra Starr and Tyla have met the star.
“It was also a dream for them. Something they did not think could happen,” she added.
With a confident outlook, Ava Peace remains hopeful that her own moment will come, saying she believes “anything can happen.”
