Ugandan singer Ava Peace, born Namugonza Maureen, has spoken out about abortion, a deeply sensitive issue among young women.

Emphasizing its dangers, she warned that many women lose their lives in the process.

She firmly expressed her stance in a media interview, stating that she would never advise anyone to undergo an abortion.

Instead, Ava Peace urged young girls who are not ready for pregnancy to practice abstinence, a choice she follows herself.

For those unable to abstain, she recommended contraceptives as a practical way to prevent unintended pregnancies.

Her message comes during Women’s Month, a time dedicated to celebrating women, honoring their achievements, and acknowledging the challenges they continue to face, particularly in the fight for equality.
