Baby Gloria Proud of Her Cooking Skills, Says Her Man Does Not Eat Matooke and Groundnuts
Gloria Mulungi Senyonjo, alias Baby Gloria, is officially on the journey to marriage after holding a beautiful Kukyala ceremony last week.
The gospel singer has since confirmed that both the Kwanjula and wedding ceremonies are still to come, keeping her fans excited about the next steps in her love story.
However, her transition into wifehood has sparked curiosity, particularly about whether she is ready to take on traditional roles such as cooking.
Addressing these questions in a media interview, Gloria confidently said, “I am a great cook.”
She noted, however, that her strengths lie in modern dishes like pasta, lasagna, and rice.
That said, she openly admitted that she has not yet learned how to prepare some traditional Ugandan dishes, especially the famed Luwombo.
“I have not yet learned how to cook Luwombo,” she confessed, before adding with a smile, “Luckily, my man has not craved it yet.”
When it comes to other local dishes like groundnuts and matooke, which can be a bit tricky to prepare, Gloria revealed that these are currently off the menu due to health reasons.
“Matooke and groundnuts give him heartburn. Most of the foods that are hard to prepare cause him heartburn. What I cook is what does not give him heartburn,” she explained.
As fans continue to shower her with congratulatory messages, many are eager to see how Baby Gloria balances music, marriage, and perhaps, in time, a touch of traditional cooking too.
