Bajjo Claims Chameleone Has More Staying Power Than Burna Boy
Events promoter Bajjo has stirred debate after comparing Nigerian superstar Burna Boy to Ugandan music legend Dr. Jose Chameleone.
Speaking to Sanyuka TV, Bajjo said Chameleone has stronger staying power in the music industry than Burna Boy.

He pointed to the Nigerian star’s recent career challenges, saying they show why Chameleone remains more consistent.
Bajjo also criticized Burna Boy’s music, calling it “bubble gum” that fails to connect with people on a deeper level.
Burna Boy has less staying power than Jose Chameleone. He had even fallen off and had to do a lot of things to get back on track. Put apologizing aside. Do you know why he had fallen off? His music does not touch people’s hearts. It is bubble gum and not constructive.

Burna Boy’s recent troubles began during his U.S. tour when he stopped a show after noticing a fan asleep in the front row.
He asked the woman and her partner to leave before continuing the performance.
The incident quickly went viral and sparked heavy criticism from fans and the media.
The backlash had a tangible effect on his tour, with ticket sales dropping and several dates being cancelled, making this a challenging period for the Nigerian star.
Amid all this, events promoter Bajjo weighed in, saying that Chameleone has greater staying power in the music industry and a stronger connection with fans.
So tell us, who do you think has more staying power in African music, Burna Boy or Chameleone?
