Basira Beere Says She Lost 4 Pregnancies in Abusive Marriage

Basira Beere has opened up about the painful experiences she faced in her failed marriage, accusing her ex husband of domestic violence.

During an appearance on the Talk to B podcast, the Yoruba actress revealed that she lost 4 pregnancies during the abusive relationship.

According to Basira Beere, the problems started just 2 days after their wedding after another man sent her a congratulatory message and she replied using the word “dear.”

Days after the wedding, a guy texted me to congratulate me on the wedding, and I called him ‘dear,’ and that was when the problem started.

The situation allegedly became so violent that even their landlord tried to intervene at some point.

Whenever she reported the abuse to her parents, they reportedly advised her to remain patient and endure the marriage.

If I explained what happened to my parents, they kept telling me to be patient and endure. Only my siblings who were living with me could attest to what I went through. He beat me over little things to the point that I lost about four pregnancies.

Their final fight allegedly left her covered in blood before details of the incident later surfaced online through gossip blog Gistlover.
