While some listeners are embracing the new musical direction Bebe Cool is taking, others feel that he is trying too hard to emulate the Nigerian sound.
Regardless of the differing opinions, the veteran artiste remains confident in his new creative journey.
During a TikTok Live session, Bebe Cool addressed his critics directly, urging them to listen to the album with a keen ear when it drops.
“Please wait for the 30th and pick on that album, and critically listen to it. Listen to it aggressively so that you understand whether what I am saying is just hype or if I am onto something. Listen to it,” he said.
For those who will listen and still not fully grasp the direction he is pursuing, Bebe Cool promised to embark on an extensive media tour to explain his vision.
“Even if you listen and do not understand, I will do a media tour, even if it takes one and a half years. But I promise you, within that time, you will understand why Bebe did what he did,” he stressed.
With “Break The Chains” set for release next month, Bebe Cool is determined to ensure his artistic vision is heard and understood, no matter the time or effort required.
