Beenie Gunter Speaks Out: His Music, Clothing Line, and Future Plans
Baguma Crescent, known professionally as Beenie Gunter, is a prominent Ugandan artiste and songwriter celebrated for his contributions to the Afro dancehall genre.
In a recent appearance on Sanyuka TV’s Uncut, the GunTalk CEO addressed his hiatus from releasing music and shared insights into his current endeavors.
Beenie Gunter expressed that he never truly left the music scene, stating, “I never left because my music is always here. At the end of the day, I have more than enough hits that are timeless.”
He explained that he took a step back to focus on the business side of his brand and to concentrate on his clothing line.
Gunter elaborated on this venture, saying, “We have clothes that are labeled GunTalk that we make from the GunTalk Design Studio.” This line aims to bring a unique style to his fans and supporters.
Additionally, Gunter mentioned the GunTalk Festival, an event designed to celebrate his music and brand.
He highlighted the significance of his extensive music catalog, asserting, “My name is not known just because of a single song; it is recognized because of my entire body of work. When one talks about the name Beenie Gunter, there is a long list of hit songs attached to it.”
He emphasized his commitment to delivering quality work that stands the test of time, stating, “When I do work, I deliver, and when I deliver, I ensure that it is going to last for over 15 years.”
