Bentrom Opens Up About Challenges in the Gospel Music Community
Bentrom has opened up about the difficulties he faces within the gospel music community, revealing that there is ill will and many bad wishers among his peers.
Known for his unique gospel dancehall style, Bentrom says that since he began his gospel music career, he has encountered many challenges, including segregation by some members of the gospel community.
Despite the criticism, he remains committed to his calling and credits God for guiding him through every obstacle.
God helps me, and people just like the music. They like it as soon as I post it, and that alone prompts others to look for it.
When asked about his biggest critic, fellow gospel singer Afande Lanek, Bentrom said he does not have time for him.
I have never approached Lanek personally, so I do not know where he gets the envy and jealousy towards me.
Bentrom also took the opportunity to reaffirm his faith, insisting that he is a born Christian regardless of the disapproval he receives from some critics and members of the gospel community.
