“Besides Music, We Are Content Creators,” Tojo 256

“Besides music, we are content creators…” That spark from Tojo 256 set the tone for one of the most real and refreshing conversations we have seen on NBS After5.
Tojo and his music partner Sean Offixial had just premiered their debut video, “In Da Bar,” when the conversation shifted to a bigger question: What does it really mean to be an artiste in Uganda today?
For them, it is not just about beats and lyrics. It is about creating culture, telling stories, and building brands.
Their latest move speaks volumes: a partnership with Black, Uganda’s first audio and wearable technology brand.
They featured Black products in their video and even played their song live through the brand’s signature base box on air.
“It felt like we were performing,” Sean laughed.
Also in the studio was Apollo BW, the Ugandan artiste based in the UK, who is making music while championing maternal health causes back home.
His story added another layer of meaning to an episode that showed why NBS After5 continues to be the place where Uganda’s next stars find their voices.
