Big Eye Refutes Claims He Disappeared Musically, Teases New Tracks

Big Eye StarBoss has dismissed claims that he disappeared from the music scene after his December 7, 2024, concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval.

Some fans and critics had said he “went to sleep” throughout 2025, but Big Eye insists that was not the case.

Speaking on Sanyuka Uncut, he explained that his absence from music was simply due to a change in focus.

I do not know what you call sleep because to be honest the whole of last year 2025 I think I had taken on other responsibilities which I belive are not bad. I entered elective politics and everyone knows that. It means that direction covered and took up most of my time and attention until it came to an end. So now it is music time.

In 2025, Big Eye focused on politics, aiming for the Nansana Municipality Member of Parliament seat.

His bid, however, ended in September when he lost the National Unity Platform (NUP) card to veteran journalist Zambaali Bulasio Mukasa.

But with the elections now behind him, he says his attention is fully back on music.

2026 is all about music. I cannot go to sleep because I have actually never gone to sleep. That is what people need to know.

Big Eye also revealed that he is already working on new music, with Rogers Lubega of Source Management heavily involved in the process.
