BigTril Tells Female Artistes: “There Is Room for Everyone”

Ugandan rapper BigTril has weighed in on the ongoing comparisons and perceived rivalries among female musicians in the country.

In recent times, fans and the media have often pitted female artistes against each other, creating the impression of competition and power struggles.

BigTril, however, believes the industry is big enough for everyone to shine.

Speaking to Rewind, he encouraged female musicians not to fear losing their place in the industry.

They should not fear. The industry is big enough for all of us. They can all succeed at the same time. Just because one is doing well does not mean the others cannot. The industry is too large for anyone to be left behind.

He added that every artiste can carve out their own path and succeed in their own way, while still co-existing with others.

Everyone can claim their own spot in the industry, so no one should fear. They can all succeed at the same time. Three GOATs, or even four, can exist at once.

BigTril’s message comes as a reminder that Uganda’s music industry has room for multiple stars, and success is not a zero-sum game.
