Birthday Show Stalls as Fave Speaks on Ramadan Concert Limits
Nigerian singer Fave says her birthday show plans have stalled after promoters allegedly told her concerts are not allowed during Ramadan.
The “Intentions” hitmaker planned to perform on March 13. However, she said each promoter gave the same reason for rejecting the date.
Fave shared her confusion on X. She explained that she grew up in southern Nigeria and only learned about Ramadan practices in her late teens.
She stressed that she respects all religions but noted she is Christian and hoped to mark her birthday with a show.
Despite the setback, she says she is still looking for someone willing to organise the event.
