Body Odour Costs Musicians Big Opportunities, Grenade Warns

Grenade Official, born Ndugwa Deus, has brought attention to the rarely discussed issue of body odour among musicians in the music industry.

Known for his stylish and polished image, Grenade voiced his concern over this problem, which he believes costs musicians valuable gigs.

Speaking in a recent interview, the “Nkuloga” singer noted that wealthy individuals often avoid inviting musicians to events, not because they dislike their music, but because of the unpleasant odour some carry.

Grenade urged musicians to improve their personal hygiene, emphasizing the importance of presenting themselves well.

Though he refrained from naming anyone, he mentioned that the issue affects both established and aspiring artistes.

As role models, particularly for children, musicians should lead by example and maintain a clean and fresh image, Grenade stressed.

While his message targeted fellow artistes, he also encouraged everyone to prioritize good hygiene practices.

He concluded by saying, “Anyone heading out into public should never leave home with dirty hair or a dirty jacket. If you cannot clean up, it is better to stay home and keep your bad odour to yourself, rather than making it everyone else’s problem.”
