Henrique Kibirige, widely known online as Wise Boy Henrique, has gone viral for videos showing him piercing the noses of clients at his shop, Wise Smart Gadgets and Jewelry.
The clips show the quick procedure as he guides clients through the process.
Many of the customers in the videos are young women, and the content has pulled large crowds to his business.
As the videos spread online, some Ugandan men began posting jokes suggesting boyfriends should be worried if their partners visit the popular piercer.
Women quickly pushed back against the claims.
Many defended him and described the criticism as unnecessary jealousy, arguing that he is simply offering a professional service.
The viral attention has also highlighted the rising popularity of nose piercings among young people in Uganda, a trend that continues to grow through social media.
