So when someone claims, ‘I heard something bad about you’ and uses that as a reason to dislike or oppose you, sometimes, it is not what they heard that shaped their reaction; it is what was already in them.

He encouraged people not to feel burdened by the need to explain themselves to everyone.

If someone’s heart is inclined toward negativity, no explanation will change their view.

This truth sets you free from the burden of trying to explain yourself to everyone. If their heart is inclined toward evil reports, no explanation will change their perception.

Bruno K also highlighted the power of a pure heart.

When someone’s intentions are good, lies and rumors cannot affect how they feel about you.

And if their heart is pure, no rumor can corrupt their affection.

He concluded with a reminder to focus on faith and personal integrity rather than others people’s opinions.
