Bryan White, Co-Accused, Remanded to Luzira Over Caroline Nalubwama’s Death

Kampala socialite Bryan Kirumira (Bryan White), 38, was today brought to court in a wheelchair for the mention of charges linked to the death of Caroline Nalubwama.

He appeared alongside his spouse Nalugga Daisy, Daphine Abaho and Joyce Nambalirwa.

The group was remanded after prosecution outlined accusations that on 22 October they caused Nalubwama’s death at his Makindye home for purposes connected to witchcraft, ritual activity, or other unlawful intentions.

The session was held behind closed doors after the judge barred the media from the courtroom.

Bryan White, who appeared weak, was wheeled into court by police.

Nalubwama’s family was present, following the hearing closely.

Before his arrest, Bryan White had been receiving treatment and gave an interview in which he blamed unnamed powerful individuals for framing him.

He claimed that a group he called the mafia had been targeting him for years, suggesting the charges were part of a larger plot against him.

Together with his co-accused, Bryan White has been sent to Luzira Prison until 18 December 2025, when the next hearing is scheduled.
