BTS Confirms New Album Release Date After Military Hiatus

BTS has officially announced their return with a new studio album set for release on March 20, 2026.

The project will be the group’s first full album together in nearly four years.

All seven members RM, Jin, Suga, J Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have now completed mandatory military service, clearing the way for full group activities.

The album will feature 14 tracks and reflect the group’s shared experiences since their last release.

The upcoming project will be released through BigHit Music and marks BTS’s first full studio album since Map of the Soul: 7.

Their most recent group release was the 2022 anthology Proof.

Ahead of the announcement, fans received handwritten messages from the members during New Year celebrations that revealed the comeback date.

The reveal quickly spread across social media.

BTS has also confirmed plans for a world tour in 2026, with more details expected on January 14.
