Burna Boy’s ‘I Told Them’ Tour Becomes Africa’s Highest-Earning Ever
Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has made history with his “I Told Them” tour, becoming the highest-grossing tour ever by an African artiste.
The Afrobeat king raked in $30.5 million from 302,801 tickets sold across 22 shows in Europe and North America, according to tour tracking platforms.
Burna Boy also set a new record for the highest-grossing single concert by an African artiste.
His London Stadium show on June 29, 2024, pulled in $6.147 million from 58,973 tickets.
The tour generated $15.19 million from 152,378 tickets sold during 16 North American shows and $15.27 million from 150,423 tickets across six European dates.
This achievement cements Burna Boy’s place as one of Africa’s most successful global artistes.
