Busoga Kingdom Rejoices as Kyabazinga and Inhebantu Welcome Twin Boys

The Busoga Kingdom is filled with joy as His Majesty William Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, and his wife, Inhebantu Jovia Mutesi, have welcomed twin boys into their family.

This blessing has brought celebration not only to the royal couple but also to the entire kingdom.

Their happiness comes nearly two years after the couple’s glamorous royal wedding, which attracted national and international guests.

The union was celebrated as a symbol of unity, heritage, and continuity, and the arrival of the twins adds another chapter of joy to their story.

The twins were born on 27th August 2025, though the royal family chose to share the news publicly on 1st September 2025.

Once announced, the news quickly spread online, with subjects of the kingdom, cultural leaders, and well-wishers from across Uganda sending heartfelt congratulations.

This milestone holds special significance beyond the palace walls.

In many Ugandan cultures, twins are regarded as a double blessing, bringing prosperity, good fortune, and happiness to the family and the community alike.

The birth of the Kyabazinga’s twins has therefore been celebrated both as a personal joy for the royal couple and as a historic occasion for the Busoga Kingdom.
