Carol Nantongo held her Kukyala on December 10 at her parents’ home in Namugongo, Kampala.
The singer officially introduced her fiancé, Dylan Ssemwogere, son of veteran musician Mesach Semakula, in the traditional ceremony that marks the start of their journey to marriage.
The colorful, invitation-only event saw the groom’s delegation arrive with customary gifts.
Both families exchanged blessings and agreed on the bride price arrangements.
Close friends, including singer Spice Diana, attended the intimate celebration.
Carol and Dylan, who have been together for eight years, got engaged on November 19, 2025.
Their full introduction ceremony and wedding are scheduled for 2026.
