Chosen Becky Responds to Critics After Wedding Moment

Newly married singer Chosen Becky has spoken out after facing criticism over involving her children in messages displayed during her recent wedding to businessman Abdul Ssekajja.

The ceremony sparked debate on social media after the children were seen holding placards expressing happiness about having a new caring father and adopting the Ssekajja name.

Critics accused the singer of dragging children into unresolved issues between parents.

Becky has since defended herself, saying it was very intentional.

She explained that she has cried publicly for years through difficult chapters of her life and felt it was finally time to express happiness openly.

For along time, she said people have placed high expectations on her, but she stated that this chapter was about choosing herself.

She added that her husband has stepped up fully by supporting the household and taking care of her children.

As long as he provides and shows love, she sees no issue with the children identifying as the Ssekajjas.

Becky emphasized that her family is happy and united, and that their joy should not be questioned by outsiders.
