Chosen Becky Says Yes

Ugandan singer Chosen Becky, whose real name is Rebecca Kukiriza, has joyfully accepted a marriage proposal from Abdul Sekajja.

Speaking to Sanyuka TV, the “Nesimye” hit-maker said, “Katonda jaali atte Akola,” which directly translates to “God is indeed, and He works.”

The engagement announcement comes amid a period of transformation and renewal for Becky.

Last year, she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl, Amber Grace Mutebi Mirembe, born on September 12, 2024, and expressed her gratitude for motherhood and divine blessings.

Becky, born Rebecca Kukiriza in Masaka, attributes her journey not to luck, but to hard work, talent, and the divine favor of God.

Despite the increased spotlight on Becky’s personal life, she says, “This is the right time,” and she is happy to be becoming Mrs. Sekajja.
