Cindy and Omega 256 Receive Buganda Kingdom’s Blessing Ahead of Concerts

Celebrated Ugandan songstresses Cindy Sanyu and Omega 256 paid a special courtesy visit to the Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga, at his office in Bulange, Mengo.

They personally invited him to attend their upcoming concerts.

Cindy’s show will be on August 29 at Lugogo Millennium Grounds, and Omega’s will be on September 19 at Cricket Oval Lugogo.

The Katikkiro welcomed them warmly, praising their artistry and the role their music plays in showcasing Uganda’s culture.

Though royal duties prevent him from attending in person, he promised full support and will send official representatives to carry Buganda’s blessings to the stage.

Cindy and Omega expressed gratitude for the gesture, emphasizing that their concerts are not just performances but celebrations of music, unity, and national pride.

The Katikkiro closed the meeting by wishing them success and blessing their voices to continue uplifting Ugandans.
