Cindy Crowned Continental Legendary Artiste of the Year
Uganda’s own Cindy Sanyu has claimed the spotlight across the continent, earning the title of Continental Legendary Artiste of the Year and cementing her place among Africa’s music elite.
Sharing the exciting news on her X account, the music icon expressed her gratitude, calling it one of the most significant achievements of her career.
It is an honor to share that I have been awarded the Continental Legendary Artist of the Year! I am humbled to have been recognized among giants in the industry, including Davido, Burna Boy, Diamond etc. I was told the competition was fierce especially between Davido so I am thrilled to have emerged victorious.
The award, handed out by the Youth in Africa Secretariat, celebrates Africa’s finest talent and the artists shaping the continent’s cultural scene.
Although Cindy could not make it to the ceremony, she gave a huge shoutout to Hon. Nebanda for receiving the award on her behalf and thanked her fans worldwide for their tireless support.
