Cindy Denies Claims That “Monica” Targets Sheebah Karungi
Cindy Sanyu’s latest song with fellow Blu3 member Jackie Chandiru, Monica, sparked debates about whether it is based on personal experience or directed at her arch nemesis, Sheebah Karungi.
The song, which highlights the struggles of married women dealing with husband snatchers, coincidentally came out shortly after rumors circulated about Sheebah allegedly being involved with a married man.

When asked in a media interview, Cindy denied any connection to Sheebah, clarifying that the song is not directed at anyone in particular.
She explained that while she currently has no “Monica” in her life, the issue is real and affects many married women.
For Cindy, Monica was a strategic move to create relatable music, drawing from experiences that resonate with a broad audience rather than her own life.
Regarding the timing of the release, Cindy insisted it was purely coincidental, stating that it was simply time for a new song.
She encouraged fans to let Sheebah enjoy her maternity and urged them not to link her to the song.
Cindy, a mother of three, highlighted the happiness that comes with motherhood and congratulated Sheebah on her journey.
According to Cindy, Monica delivers a general message addressing a common concern among married women and is not intended as criticism of anyone, particularly Sheebah Karungi.
For her, the song is a voice for many women navigating the realities of marriage.
