Cindy Explains Why Her Concert Falls on Same Day as Dax Vibez

The King Herself Cindy Sabyu has spoken out on why her much-anticipated concert will be held on August 29, a date that has stirred talk because it coincides with singer Dax Vibez’s own show.

Appearing on Horizon Vibe, Cindy explained that the decision was not part of a long-term plan but was instead made during a spontaneous online session with her fans.

It was a live session. My fans joined the live and we decided right there and then. It is not like I came to announce that I was doing a show on the 29th. No. I asked them, ‘Guys, when can we have a concert?’ It was an online discussion, and my fans settled on August 29

According to Cindy, at the time she agreed with her fans she had no idea about Dax’s plans.

She said she only learned about his concert the following day, after she had already confirmed the date publicly.

That is why, she added, claims that Dax later approached her to postpone are completely false.

Dax has never talked to me about the date. The claims that he asked me to postpone and I refused are not true. We have never actually had that conversation. Whenever I meet Dax, we are good, it is always positive energy.

Despite the talk of competition, Cindy says there is no bad blood between them. She believes both concerts will succeed, since each of them has their own audience.

I thought about it and realized: I have had my fans since 2003 up to now, and Dax, who is just starting out, also has his own fans. His is concert will be successful, and mine will be successful too.

With that, the “Ayokyayokya” hit-maker brushed aside talk of rivalry, insisting there is enough space for both shows to shine.
