Cindy Reveals She Saw Star Potential in Sheebah from the Start

Cindy Sanyu has opened up about her early days working with Sheebah, revealing that she saw the star potential in the younger singer long before fame found her.

Speaking on Horizon Vibe, the “Boom Party” singer said she wrote Sheebah’s first song because she could see the talent inside her.

This is why I wrote her first song, because I saw the potential. I could see that she was a star. I knew that it was inside of her. I knew it, and that is why I wrote the song. I never would have invested my time and energy into that. I saw it.

Over the years, the two had their differences, but Cindy says they are now on good terms.

She explained that being at peace does not mean being best friends, but it does mean being able to interact calmly when in the same space.

Yeah, we are good. Sometimes you do not need to be good to the level of sitting together. You just have to be good enough to sit in a room and be able not to scream at each other, but speak calmly to each other. And that is always a good thing. You do not necessarily have to be everybody’s friend, no, but as long as you are at peace with everybody and can actually stand each other in a room, we are good. So, we are in that space.

Cindy made these revelations ahead of her big August 29 concert at Millennium Park in Lugogo.
