Coco Jones Honors Whitney Houston at Super Bowl LX

During the pre-game show at Super Bowl LX on February 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Coco Jones performed “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”

The song, often referred to as the Black national anthem, set a powerful tone for the night.

Her performance also included a style tribute to Whitney Houston’s iconic appearance at Super Bowl XXV in 1991.

Coco wore a custom all white look designed by Karl Kani. The outfit featured sporty details that echoed Whitney’s famous tracksuit, while keeping a modern edge. The jacket included bold red, black, and green colors inspired by the Pan African flag.

The added details gave the look deeper cultural meaning while honoring Houston’s legacy.

Although it was not an exact replica, the outfit clearly nodded to Whitney’s historic moment and reintroduced it to a new generation through Coco’s own voice and style.
