Comic duo Sammie and Shawa Announce Show at Theater Labonita, Say It Is ‘Now or Never’
Known for their clever, observational, and satirical humor, the comic duo Sammie & Shawa are celebrating two and a half years in the entertainment industry.
The duo shared with Sanyuka TV that they are planning to host an event at Theater Labonita on May 2.
Shawa, the smaller of the two, explained that the event is not being organized solely to mark the number of years they have spent in the industry.
Instead, he feels that the timing is just right, referring to the English saying, “It’s now or never.”
He believes that with the years they have dedicated to the industry and the amount of content they have put out, they are deserving of holding a show at Theater Labonita.
Sammie, on the other hand, clarified that those who think they are organizing the event for the money are not wrong, as they do indeed need it.
He also took the opportunity to call on key figures like Mama Fina, Don Chris, and Ham Kigunddu to lend their support to the event.
The duo assured their fans that the show will feature top-notch comedy, promising some of their best skits and performances.
They also revealed that hankies will be necessities for the event, as the comedy will be so good that attendees might shed tears of laughter.
