Cosmetic Surgery Is Not an Abomination, Gloria Bugie Insists

Ugandan singer Gloria Bugie has dismissed rumors that she had a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) or lip and nose fillers.

But while she denied going under the knife herself, she says she has no problem with cosmetic procedures.

During a sit-down with NRG, Gloria explained that if such procedures help someone love themselves more, there is nothing wrong with doing them.

The “Nyash” star added that cosmetic procedures are judged harshly in Uganda because of societal norms.

We are in a third-world country, so people see these procedures as something abominable. But it is not an abomination. It is just like makeup, or doing your lashes, or doing your nails. It is a make-up procedure so… but it is not yet normal here… but I do not see any problem with it.

Gloria Bugie concluded by encouraging people to do what makes them feel good.

If cosmetic surgery helps someone feel confident, she says they should go ahead.
