Da Agent Denies Abandoning Fast Rap Style, Emphasizes Versatility
Rapper Ivan Wabwire, better known by his stage name Da Agent, rose to fame for his fast-paced rap delivery, which set him apart in the Ugandan music industry.
Recently, however, fans and critics have noticed a shift in his musical approach, especially with his new releases.
Some have questioned whether Da Agent is slowly abandoning the fast rap style that made him famous, with rumors suggesting he might even be stepping away from the hip-hop genre altogether.
In a recent interview with Sanyuka TV, Da Agent put the speculation to rest, assuring fans that he has not turned his back on the genre or his signature flow.
“Doing the same thing over and over can become boring, not only for me but also for the fans,” he said, adding that the changes in his music reflect his desire to be versatile and creative.
For this reason, he is exploring new sounds and ideas while remaining true to the core of who he is as a rapper.
