Dan Flavour Warns That Fame Without Humility Leads to Isolation and Depression

Singer Dan Flavour has opened up about the challenges musicians often face, attributing many of them to a loss of humility after achieving fame.

Speaking to Sanyuka TV, he explained that many musicians, once they become successful, tend to distance themselves from the people who knew them before the fame.

As a result, they often surround themselves with individuals who praise them solely because of their celebrity status.

“But when the fame fades, those who once praised them disappear. And since they have already cut off the people who truly knew them, they are left with no one to turn to,” he added.

Dan Flavour believes this is one of the reasons many artistes fall into depression.

Using himself as an example, he shared that the music industry has taught him many valuable lessons, especially the importance of staying humble and grounded.

He went on to encourage artistes to learn how to distinguish between their true self and their music career persona.
