Davido and Chioma Take a Break from Childbearing
Afrobeats kingpin, Davido, and his wife, Chioma, have made it clear they are hitting the pause button on expanding their family.
The father of five recently revealed that he and Chioma are not planning to have more children for now, putting their focus on other priorities.
Speaking in a recent episode of Ride Along With Darryl, Davido shared that the couple is taking a well-deserved break.
“I don’t want more children now. Me and my wife are taking a break. She needs to get out to work. She wants to do a lot of things like opening her restaurant and launching her spices. I feel she deserves a couple of years off after having 3 kids,” he said.
The couple, who welcomed a set of twins, a boy and a girl, in 2023, has been through their fair share of heartache after losing their first son, Ifeanyi, in a tragic swimming pool accident.
Now, Davido believes it is time for Chioma to focus on her career and take a step back from childbearing for the time being.
