Dax Vibes Reveals How Bobi Wine Inspired His Stage Name

Singer Ivan Bugembe Sentamu, better known by his stage name Dax Vibes, has shared the emotional force behind his music career.

In a recent media interview, the singer revealed that it is the continuous appreciation from his fans that keeps him inspired.

“Currently, it is the appreciation from my fans that keeps me moving,” he said.

Before the fame, Dax Vibes said he had a strong burning feeling deep inside him that pushed him to express himself musically.

When he finally acted on it and began sharing his music, the positive response from fans became his biggest source of motivation.

Interestingly, he revealed that it was his elder brother, singer-turned-politician Bobi Wine, who gave him the name “Dax” when he was still a baby, and that it was inspired by a movie character.

Later, as he began his music journey, he added “Vibes” to complete the name, Dax Vibes.
